[PUBG] Deston Pillar Security Vault Locations & Security Key Card Guide

PUBG recently released a new 8x8 battle royale map. It's a map called Deston, which was previously known under the project name KIKI.

Deston Pillar Security Vaults and Security Key Cards

The Deston map has a few special systems you won't find on other maps, and one of them is a smaller version of the Pillar vaults that could also be seen on Haven. These vaults are located all over the map, and to enter them you need a Pillar Security Key Card, which spawns in the field at a low rate.

Outside the big cities, the Pillar Security Vaults are mostly inside trucks. In the big cities, they're on building rooftops or in rooms. These secret rooms contain one care-package weapon and one piece of level 3 armor.

A vault door is opened with a Security Key Card and can't be closed again. If it's open, it means it's already been looted, 500%.

Deston Pillar Security Vault Secret Room Locations

The Deston Pillar Security Vaults are spread across the entire Deston map, and as you can see from the photo below, a large number of them are concentrated in the big city of Ripton. You can also see that the rest of the secret rooms are mostly in named locations.

However, no matter how many vaults there are, you first have to find a Security Key Card to open one, so having a lot of them clustered together doesn't seem like a huge advantage.

In the middle of the map there's the Lodge. It's a large mansion that draws a lot of players, and there's a reason for that. The reason is that the Pillar Security Vault in the underground space beneath this mansion is about twice the size of a normal vault. Since it's larger, twice as many items spawn there as well, making it a hot spot that draws lots of people.

There's a very large underground space beneath the Lodge building. It's a scary place to get camped... The secret space here holds 2 care-package weapons and 2 pieces of level 3 gear. (See the photo below)

This is the main hall area.

If you go further inside, there's a secret room where level 3 gear spawns.

There are 2 doors, but opening just one opens both.

Deston Drone-Only Spaces

Deston added a lot of pretty interesting features, and among them the drone-only spaces seem really novel. As shown in the official photo below, building rooftop vents and high-rise buildings have spaces marked with wood like the one below. These spaces are too small for a person to enter, so you can get in via a drone.

Using the drone's item-pickup function, you can grab the items inside the drone-only space. Low-spawn-rate items and Security Key Cards can spawn here in some cases, so it's worth keeping in mind.
